Happy Halloween, my lovelies! If you’re following me on the socials, you know I have been hit extraordinarily hard with negative life events these last few weeks. It is no secret that at baseline I have mental illnesses (#EndTheStigma), so those are off the charts right now. Nevertheless, Halloween is to me what Winter Holidays are to the rest of society. With no burlesque dates or spooky parties to attend, what’s a girl to do? Take my green opera length gloves and hand out candy from behind my door as The Once-ler. Trick-or-Treat isn’t canceled in my village, just moved to mid-afternoon. To keep responsible social distance I’ve constructed a candy chute to propel sweets into bags, baskets, or buckets.
I can’t entertain my usual holiday guests, but I still pulled out all the stops on creepy family dinner night with my quaranteam. Our menu included: Wisconsin beer cheese soup, pepper monster salad, jalapeño mummies, purple spaghett-eel, brimstone bread, and pumpkin roll snails. All homemade from scratch with love. I’ll likely post latergrams of the spread because food p0rn is almost as good as smut p0rn.
A fitting example of my love for all things spooky, I present Ghosts of Edgefield. I’ve mentioned before that the property in Portland is the site of a litany of hauntings. The one confirmed case occurred during my stay for Bizarro Con, in my very own room. The apparition looked just like me. I even caught it on film. Look at this month’s set - if you dare! VIPs are getting the full 44 image photoset, and Backstage Patrons also get 17 beyond-the-set images this month! Be sure you're logged in on my site to view the images. Please do give the set some love by leaving a comment or clicking the heart below. As always, thank you to all my Patrons. You make art happen.
