I have so much to share with everyone! As you may have seen on my social medias, I've just returned from a week-long road trip to Texas. My partner and I visited Austin and San Antonio, meeting up with Bizarro author friends along the dusty trail. We were honored with an epic reading/house party, visited the Museum of the Weird, stumbled upon a street fair, went skinny dipping in Lake Travis, saw Infinity War in 3D at the Alamo Drafthouse, visited the Alamo, got lost in a mirror maze, cruised the San Antonio River, fed ducks and wandered the Riverwalk, watched the sunset from the Tower of the Americas, danced to a bagpiping street performer, and stole a little luck from "marriage island" where we decided on a formal collaring ceremony. To translate from kinky fetishist to vanilla normie, think of it as a proposal and engagement. A collaring ceremony is solidifying our commitment and nothing about our poly lifestyle changes with this wedding of sorts. We've celebrated five years together, and we're looking forward to a lifetime of more adventures.
An Intimate Morning is a keepsake of travels gone by. It was captured by my dear friend Khoos, during a visit when she still lived stateside. Since escaping back to her native Canada, I had the good fortune to visit with her again. Sadly, no photo magic was made on that occasion. (Although plenty of beaver trails were eaten!) I’d love to revisit our collaboration soon, but for now, we’ll always have this one intimate morning.
