I wish I could articulate just how amazing The Windy City Burlesque Festival was. I am honored to have been a part of it, and am already looking forward to next year's. Special thanks to the producers, Vaudezilla and Belmont Burlesque, for all the effort put forth to bring us such incredible events. I am inspired by so many of the talents on display last weekend! It was like a burlesque boot camp for being fabulous. Apart from learning through studying fellow performers, I attended a class offered through the fest with The Amazing Tomas. I'm always on the lookout for new tricks to pull off my sleeve. ;)
I'm anxiously awaiting the photos and videos from the shows to be released. I've not only been inspired to create and embellish more of my own costumes, but also to create new product for my shop on Etsy. If only my hands could keep up with my brain!
New bookings are just around the corner, and will be announced soon. Keep your eyes peeled for info on where to catch me next! To whet your appetite further, White and Nerdy will be back in action soon. If that doesn't do it for you, development has begun on a brand spanking new act involving feather fans!
Welcome Spring... I just wish you'd banish the cold temps that threaten to invade the area again. Don't play favorites - I know it was 80 degrees in St Louis today. Where is the love for Chicago, Spring? :P
